Deputy Early Years Operations Manager

Elim is looking for a Deputy Early Years Operations Manager to support the Early Years Operations Manager in delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality early years and childcare services. You will play a key role in overseeing Ofsted-registered childcare settings, addressing compliance issues, and contributing to the strategic development of Elim’s childcare provision.

You will be responsible for supporting settings through visits, training, and action planning, ensuring they meet goals and maintain compliance with the EYFS framework and Ofsted regulations. You will also work closely with local church leaders to ensure the effective supervision of senior staff and provide support during leadership transitions.

You will be proactive, knowledgeable, and organised, ready to represent Elim at external meetings, including Ofsted visits, and to take on other duties as needed. Regular visits to settings across the UK will be required, as well as ongoing professional development and participation in key meetings.

Additional details

  • Place of work: Flexible, including childcare settings
  • Working Hours: 15 hours per week
  • Salary: £26,000 pa (pro-rata)
