Terms and Conditions

Disciple Making Leaders 2023/24

Booking Terms and Conditions

  1. Payment for the Disciple Making Leaders Academy is by debit or credit card.
  2. All bookings require a deposit which is non-refundable.
  3. There are two options for paying the balance of the Disciple Making Leaders Academy fees:
    • a) A one off payment:  If this option is selected, then the full balance for the academy will be taken on 15 October 2023.
    • b) Nine monthly installments: If this option is selected, then the payment plan will be started on 15 October 2023 and conclude after nine monthly payments have been made.
  4. If any payments are missed or cancelled, for whatever reason, your access to the Academy will be cancelled unless payments are reinstated and any outstanding balance is paid.
  5. If discounts are available, and you have been provided with a discount code or mechanism then this should be used at the time of booking.  Failure to do so will be your responsibility.  Application of a discount code after booking will be solely at the discretion of the Elim Training Department whose decision will be final.
  6. If you have any queries about payments, please contact Elim Training using their published email address or phone number.
  7. Refunds will only be given in extenuating circumstances. The decision of the Elim Training department regarding what will be considered as extenuating circumstances will be final. Should an attendee wish to seek a refund they should notify Elim Training in writing immediately at elimtraining@elim.org.uk. The date of receipt will be the date on which any agreed refunds are based.  Please note that Elim Training will confirm they have received your request for cancellation. Should you not receive confirmation, this will mean that your email or letter has not been received, and therefore, you will not be entitled to any refund from that date.
  8. No refunds will be made in the four weeks prior to the commencement of the start of the Academy.
  9. It is the responsibility of the attendee to inform Elim Training of any change of address, contact phone number or email address after booking. Please note that our preferred method of contact for customers booking online is by email, so care should be taken to provide a current, valid email address.
  10. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your attendance at the correct price (and credit or debit your account as applicable) or cancelling your attendance. If we are unable to contact you, you agree that we may treat your attendance as cancelled. If you choose to cancel after you have already paid the incorrect price for the Academy, you will receive a full refund from us.
  11. Attendees consent to filming, photography and sound recording as members of the audience and to these images and recordings being used for future publicity purposes.
  12. Elim Training accepts no responsibility for any personal property being damaged or lost at the Academy.
  13. Attendees are liable for any damage caused by themselves.
  14. Elim Training reserves the right, at its discretion, to terminate, without notice, an individual’s attendance at the Academy where deemed necessary through unacceptable behaviour or as a result of actions which are likely to endanger or offend others.
  15. Smoking, alcohol or pets are not permitted at the Academy. (Registered Assistance dogs are permitted.)
  16. Any complaints should be reported to one of the Elim Training team at the time of occurrence. We want your time with us to be a fantastic experience and, where possible, would wish to resolve any problems you have as soon as possible.
  17. Elim Training will be hiring the venues throughout the year. In the event of any major failure of any equipment or problems on the day, outside our control, it will be the responsibility of the venue to deal with it as soon as possible. We regret that Elim Training cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience caused.
  18. Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performing their obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause that is beyond the reasonable control of that party. Such causes include, but are not limited to: power failure, Internet Service Provider failure, acts of God, epidemic, pandemic, civil unrest, fire, flood, droughts, storms, earthquakes, the collapse of buildings, explosion or accident, acts of terrorism, acts of war, governmental action, any law or any action taken by a government or public authority, including without limitation imposing an export or import restriction, quota or prohibition, or any other event that is beyond the control of the party in question.

Elim Training and delegates agree to communicate without delay any issues they may have in performing their obligations under this agreement. You acknowledge that COVID-19 may require the residential venue to take one or more of the following measures for the safety of their staff and the safety of delegates attending this event:

  21. Elim may enforce these terms in accordance with the provisions of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 (the "Act"). Except as provided above, this agreement does not create any right enforceable by any person who is not a party to it under the Act, but does not affect any right or remedy that a third party has which exists or is available apart from that Act.
