Statement from Elim Pentecostal Church on the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Together with our nation, the Elim Pentecostal Church mourn the death of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We especially extend our sincere condolences and prayers to the Royal Family at this difficult time of grief and loss.

We reflect, with profound gratitude, on the life and legacy of her extraordinary reign, as she served the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth with unparalleled loyalty, humility and dedicated service.

Her fortitude, strength and leadership have been the cornerstone of our nation for seven decades and served as an example to the world. We are comforted that Her Majesty confessed and lived out her deep and abiding Christian faith.

We pray too for King Charles III as he navigates the days of change and transition that lie ahead. May Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II rest in peace and rise in glory.
