THE LARGEST SLUM IN ASIA
600,000 people live in Dharavi, the largest slum in India as well as in Asia. Life in a slum is no place for a child. For a child growing up here they can expect a life with little opportunities, no space for creativity, poor hygiene facilities and numerous social challenges.
In helping children learn English and maths, they are given a greater opportunity to access higher studies and have a better job, better life and help break the cycle of poverty for them and their families.
Providing education on physical, mental and spiritual health we hope to help children to cope with their strenuous everyday lives and social challenges.
